ブータンのHiphopチームDruk Generationとグラフィティ
10月26日から開催の写真展はブータンのHiphopチームDruk Generationをテーマにしている。 この映像はぼくが撮影した写真の上から、彼ら自身にグラフィティや思いを綴った言葉を描いてもらったものだ。 なぜこのアプローチを試みたかというと、彼らはどんな人で、どんな精神的な内面をしているのかを視覚化したかったからである。
ぜひ、会場へ足をお運びいただき、 ぼく自身が撮影した写真と彼らが描いたグラフィティを編み込んだ作品群を通して、今ブータンで起こっている新しい波を感じていただけたらと思う。

The photo exhibition held from October 26th is the theme of Bhutan's Hiphop team Druk Generation. I got them to draw words that graffiti and thought from the top of the photo. The reason why I tried this approach was because they wanted to visualize what kind of people they are and what kind of spiritual interior they are doing. By all means, please visit the venue. And I hope you will feel the new wave that is going on in Bhutan now, through a group of works that woven photographs taken by myself and graffiti drawn by them.
